Earl Nightingale

Reflection: what I think this quote means is if you’re set your mind to what you want to be then most likely you will become it.

Example: for example if someone wants to be a teacher then you will do your most hardest to become it.

Student success statement

“Good thoughts bear good fruit. Bad thoughts bear bad fruit”
James Allen

Reflection: what I think this quote means is if you think of choosing the right then your mind will have a habit of doing the right thing and being a good fruit. But if you do bad things and choose the wrong then you will have a habit of doing wrong and your mind will be a bad fruit.

Example: for example if you steal something you think you can do it again and again and will get a habit of doing it. but if you choose the right thing by not stealing then you will stay good.

Genetic counselor

Duties and responsibilities:

The duties and responsibilities of genetic counselor are to work with different patients and sometimes families that have problems, disorders, and birth defects. They also work with people who are at risk of getting one of these problems. Genetic counselors often:

¨     Educate patients and families about their conditions and how they might be able to be helped by the counselors.
¨     They examine family history and determine what type of genetic problems they have.

¨     Conduct research about genetic disorders.

Education:

Students that are interested in becoming genetic counselors should take the most challenging high school curriculum that emphasizes science and mathematics and other classes. A master’s degree is required, and most graduate programs are required
I wouldn’t want to be one because it’s hard to work with other people.

Average salary:$25,000 - $55,000
