Duties and responsibilities

Radiation assists radiologist and onocologists in treating patients that have diseases through and exposing area of the body. In addition to helping with the treatments, technologists are responsible for maintaining the therapy equipment. Radiation therapy is provided in hospitals, public health clinics, and cancer treatment centers.

Average Salary: $22,000 - $36,000

Educational requirements:

To become one, students should be taking the most challenging high school courses such as science, math, and English. Students can train to become a radiation therapist in either one year or two year program. The program that is one year training is offered in public hospitals. To join or be qualified to join you must have graduated from a program in radiologic technology.

Psychologist

Duties and responsibilities:

Psychologists study the behavior and actions of people to understand their change in behaviors.  To some who need help they provide therapy for emotional and behavioral problems.  They work in clinics, schools, hospitals, and private practices.

Salary:$45,000 - $65,000

Education:

Student should prepare for a career by taking the most challenging courses in high school either AP or IB in English and science. They need to earn a PH.D in psychology. Clinical psychologist must complete a two year supervision internship after earning their doctorate.

Reflection: what this quote is trying to tell us is that when your practice, show persistence and determination then the thing that you practice for will become easier to do.

Example: for example ever since day one of my football practice I was never that good and catching learning plays or running fast but with practice, persistence, and determination I got way better at it and now it’s easy.  

Psychiatrist

Duties and responsibilities:

Psychiatrists are physicians who specialize in problems of mental illness. Since they are licensed they are able to use a variety wide of tools to do treatments for patients and may also write prescriptions. They may also work for the government and have their own private practices. The places they could work in are in hospitals, clinics, universities and some of their duties are to:

·       Conducting psychotherapy sessions.

·       Prescribing potent mental illness drugs.

·       Conducting research.

·       Health care providers.

Average salary: $90,000 - $200,000

Educational requirements:

They need to a degree in allopathic or in osteopathic medicine. Also psychiatrist must complete an intensive three year residency in psychiatry.

I would want to become one because they make bank.
