Student success statement

“Nothing in the world can take the place of PERSISTANCE”

TALENT will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent.

GENIUS will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb

EDUCATION will not; the world is full of educated derelicts.

Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan ‘Press on’ has solved the problems of the human race”

President Calvin Coolidge

What I think this quote means is that nothing can replace the word persistence because talent can’t get you what you want only persistence because persistence is a way of not giving up and to keep trying.

For example if you fail at test then don’t give up and keep trying until you pass.

“Persistence can change failure into extraordinary achievement.”

By: matt Biondi

Reflection: what I think this quote means is that if you are determined to achieve a goal then you can do it even if you fail once then you can try over and over a again until you achieve that goal. So never give up and give up hope. J

For example if you dont know how to do a math problem never give up and keep trying until you get it.
