Duties and responsibilities

Some of their duties and responsibilities are to treat the disorders if eyes and diseases. They treat vision problems and write the prescriptions for both correct eye lenses and pharmaceutical. In some cases when it’s necessary the perform eye surgery. However sometimes they work in hospitals and in clinics.

 Average Salary: $90,000 - $150,000

Educational requirements:

Some physicians may study to become an ophthalmologist. After the requirement of completing medical school and an internship they must complete a three year to five year residency at an approved ophthalmologist program.  




i would not want to become one because
when they do surgery it looks really 
scary.
