responsibilities:
Wellness professionals work for schools, local governments, companies
or other organizations to support and train people on their health and fitness
goals. The types of concerns they have are weight and diabetes preventions and
also maintaining a health work-life balance. A wellness specialist talks
directly on eating exercising habits and lifestyle.
Educational
requirements:
Wellness specialists often have a degree related to nursing,
fitness, or sports medicine. There are no specific requirements but many of the
positions require on-the-job training in addition to certification from a
wellness organization.
