Duties
and responsibilities:
A type of medical and
health services manager, work as managers in both the administrative and
medical capacities to ensure that the establishment for which they work runs
smoothly. Clinical managers often work for doctors to do the following:
Ø Manage clinical
Ø Outpatient facilities
Ø Long term
care facilities
Ø Manage recruitments
They develop and manage policies
and directives. They monitor budgets, handling communications and make
purchasing decisions.
Salary: $88,580
Educational requirements:
To become a clinical manager the minimum
of a degree will be a bachelor’s degree in the field of medical services and administration
or health care administration. Coursework in a 4-year bachelor degree program
includes the course on health care law and ethics. Some skills that they need
are to be responsible for managing many parts of the medical establishment.
